South Africa used a six-run bottom of the fifth to come from behind and earn a historic win against Great Britain. The Netherlands came from behind to rally in the fifth and held to the lead to beat Australia. Chinese Taipei outscored Colombia after a game that was close through the fourth.

WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025 qualification process begins in Africa

Three regional tournaments involving 11 programmes qualified six teams to the Super6 Africa Youth Baseball5 Championship, which will be held from December 2024 to January 2025. Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tunisia and Ghana will chase two tickets to the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025.

Japan-Africa Baseball & Softball Foundation to launch National Baseball Tournament in Ghana

The tournament will follow a period of intensive training under the instruction of Keio University volunteers. After Tanzania and Kenya, Ghana will become the third African country to hold Koshien-style baseball tournaments. Nigeria, South Sudan, Benin, Cameroon, and Zambia will follow soon.
