Kamal Daqish was impressed by the performance at the WBSC Africa Championship and by the co-ed Tunisian National Team ranked No. 4 in the world. He hopes to see Tunisia compete in Baseball5 at the 2026 Youth Olympics.

Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Zambia, Uganda, Nigeria and Tanzania hosted the events. The WBSC signed a MoU with the Olympafrica Foundation and ANOCA in 2021.
"We are launching this new tool in conjunction with the 10 year anniversary of the WBSC, to bring forward our vision to support all our members in the path for more modern, sustainable, and well-organised Community," said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari.
Baseball5 Coaching Clinic for West Africa held in Nigeria

Instructors Chedli Mokrani and Daniel Yaw Atiemo ran a course for 29 coaches. It's the second of four Baseball5 Coaching Clinics launched by the WBSC, WBSC Africa and Olympic Solidarity targeting the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics.
