GABORONE, Botswana – Japan has granted over USD $65,000 to the Botswana Softball Association (BSA) to improve and upgrade the national Softball Stadium and to provide Softball equipment through the Japanese Government’s ‘Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects’.

The World Baseball Classic 2017, hosted by MLB and the MLBPA and sanctioned by WBSC, is set to be distributed in 182 countries and territories worldwide for a global potential reach of more than 415 million households.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation today announced the qualified nations and groups for the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2017 that will be staged from 1-10 September in Thunder Bay, Canada.
