WHITEHORSE, YK, Canada — Sixteen teams from all five Olympic continents will compete in the 15th edition of the men’s softball championship, which will be hosted in Whitehorse, Yukon, July 7 to 16. Live streaming video will be offered for all 76 games played over the 10 days.

The 15th edition of the men’s flagship softball event will showcase more than 75 games — 56 games taking place in the round robin over the first seven days, followed by three days of playoff action.

GABRONE, Botswana – The Botswana Men’s Softball National Team dominated the South African National Team in a three-game international friendly series played at the National Diamond. The friendly games were used as preparation for the upcoming WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship in Whitehorse, Canada, beginning 7 July.

The three-day summit will be hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 5-7 May and will gather high-ranking officials from the WBSC, the African Baseball and Softball Association (ABSA), and 20 national governing bodies.
