Today marks 100 days to go until the first pitch of the XII WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship

“This is an exciting time for our sport, working together with the French Federation of Baseball and Softball to cement our place on the Olympic Programme”. This is how WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari opened the second day of the Executive Board meeting

WBSC Members and affiliated National Teams will have the opportunity to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games exclusively through eight WBSC international tournaments, four for baseball and four for softball.

The first session of WBSC Executive Board meeting opened with a welcome speech by Denis Masséglia, The French Olympic Commitee President, thus the host. Masséglia wished “good luck” to baseball and softball in the Paris 2024 inclusion effort.
The core of the session was on global and youth development of baseball and softball.

The Lesotho Baseball and Softball Association (LBSA) is proposing a plan aimed at developing the technical sector of coaching.
